What got you inspired to start a blog?
I was considering creating a book blog for a long time before I actually sat down and started! I was a big fan of The Book Smugglers’ blog and because I started reading that one regularly, it inspired me to expand and discover more blogs. Once I realized there was a such a big and engaged community of book bloggers out there, I really wanted to take part! And, of course, I love to talk about books and wanted an outlet to write up my thoughts. 🙂
What is your life like outside of blogging?
I moved to a new city a few months ago for a new job, and I’m slowly becoming acclimated to it (I’ll admit…I still sometimes go the wrong side of the metro!). I’ve been trying to explore the city more, and I’m definitely loving trying out new restaurants!
Any advice/ tips to those who would like to start a book blog?
Don’t forget why you love to blog and read! It’s so easy to become bogged down in the pressure to post weekly or read whatever everyone else is reading.
Favorites
Book(s) (include Author)?
This is such an impossible question to answer!! There’s no way I can narrow it down to one…I love The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen (I even have a tattoo inspired by the book to prove it!). That one has always been one of my top YA reads. My most recent new favorite is Scarlet by A. C. Gaughen. My favorite author of all time is Diana Wynne Jones…I hope to one day own a copy of every single one of her books. Oh, and when I speak of favorites, I mean favorites that come AFTER Harry Potter.
Favorite genre?
Fantasy, by far.
Favorite drink?
Butterbeer! Yuengling is my go-to beer if I can’t decide what to order.
Favorite candy?
Anything white chocolate.

There you have it folks! Thank you so much Ellie! Please visit her super awesome blog by clicking on her blog button above 🙂
